Hong Kong Artistic Sculptor Mr. Chu Chung Shing is the internationally known founder of PRESTIGE CRAFTS. He has been in the trade of Arts and Crafts for over 40 years and trained hundreds of craftsmen, some of whom have become Master craftsmen. Since the 1989 International Conference in Lausanne prohibited the sale of elephant ivory and killing of elephants, Mr. Chu has been concentrating on Mammoth tusk sculpture. He has contributed to the community by producing a huge quantity of exquisite works of art of various themes, and is rated first in the trade. His works are deeply appreciated by collectors throughout the world and can be found on all continents. Distinguished collectors include Hong Kong dignitaries such as Sir Run Run Shaw, CBE, GBM; Dr. Stanley Ho Hung Sun, GBS; and Ms. Mona Fong Yat Wah, a former General Manager of Television Broadcasts Limited; a German museum Sachsische Museen (Daetz-Centrum Lichtenstein), Manjusha Museum in India; some private museums in the U.S.A.; the Grand Lisboa Hotel inMacau, etc...... hence the name 'PRESTIGE CRAFTS'. In 2023, we are honored to have the People's Government of Xinyi City, China to develop a China Tusk Carving Art Museum in Xinyi, which solely displays and collects Mr. Chu Chung Shing's works to inherit mammoth tusk carving artistry. We hope that we can secure support from all sides, enable the world to jointly utilize the charm of Chinese traditional culture to better promote the development of talents and projects specializing in mammoth tusk carving to cultivate more and finer intangible heritage inheritors.
On 2019-8-30 and 2020-9-9, we are honored to have the Guangdong Museum acquire mammoth tusk artworks from Mr Chu twice and have two published Red-letterhead Documents with related details on the official website.
In 2015, Mr. Chu Chung Shing provided the Antai College of Economics and Management of Shanghai Jiao Tong University with a large-scale mammoth tusk carving artwork --- "Ying Ju An Tai". At the unveiling ceremony, Professor Zhou Lin, Dean of Antai College of Economics and Management, commented: Mr. Chu Chung Shing's artwork possess a stunningly strong visual impact. Mr. Chu Chung Shing and other ivory carving artists have opted for mammoth tusks discovered within the frozen soil layer of Siberia. After years of execution and hard work, they have successfully selected and utilized high-quality mammoth tusks as raw materials for their tusk carvings, which have given the art of tusk carving a new lease of life. This is a successful precedent of how to preserve and promote traditional art in contemporary society, posing as an inspiring example to industries facing the conflict between modernity and tradition. The grand tusk carving art " Ying Ju An Tai" is displayed in the center of the main hall of the Antai building, witnessing the growth and change of the most excellent ones in China from students to business elites. When led by Zhao Xinyun, assistant to the dean to enjoy this masterpiece, some alumni cannot help but admired it as “the one and only representation of today’s prosperity”.
In 2014 Mr. Chu Chung Shing was invited to Shanghai Jiaotong University, entitled "Change of Era: From Technology to Art " speech, he shared his successful enterprise management to students.
In 2013 Supervised and organized again by the Special Committee of Education, Science, Culture, Health and Sports of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), Mr. Chu's sole exhibition, Artistic Era of Harmony, Prosperity and Splendor - 'Prestige Crafts' Mammoth Tusk Carving Exhibition, was held at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre. CPPCC Vice Chairman Tung Chee-hwa has also come to watch, and to give a high evaluation.

In 2011 Mr. Chu was also invited by the National People's Congress in 2011 to attend the ceremony of "CREATE BRILLIANCE - the 100th Anniversary of THE REVOLUTION of 1911, Fine Art from 100 of Virtuoso Craft Masters Exhibition".
In 2010 Our signature product: a masterpiece of mammoth tusk carving "Thousands of Arhats for our Prosperous Country" was honoured as being the only Mammoth tusk invited to take part at the Shanghai World Expo 2010 "Chinese Art Great Master of State Art Treasures Exhibition". Its exhibition represented China to the whole world. The article in the Shanghai World Expo 2010 has also endorsed Mr. Chu's outstanding contribution towards development and inheritance of national cultural heritage.
In 2009 "Layered Arhats" was the only one piece of artwork presented for competition. It was awarded the Gold Prize Medal of the tenth anniversary of the China Arts & Crafts Association and the World Crafts Council International.
